When the team at Slightly Toasted tried Town Branch single malt, they decided they wanted to split a barrel with us. They're a bourbon bar, and they still wanted this on their shelf.
Town Branch brought this bottle to the Kentucky Bourbon Festival to share at their tent, and everyone who tried it couldn't understand what they were drinking. As bourbon drinkers we're conditioned to think single malts taste like smoke, earth and malt. This dismantles all of those beliefs with just the nose. For the price, you won't find a better single barrel of whiskey anywhere.
