A smoked Texas single malt from Andalusia Whiskey Co. in Blanco, made grain-to-glass from 100% malted barley smoked over oak, mesquite, and apple woods instead of peat. Distilled on a copper pot still and bottled at 100 proof, it reads as a barbecue-inflected answer to Islay-style malts, and appeared among Whisky Advocate's Top 20 whiskies of 2021.
