Benromach 10 comes from the small Speyside distillery in Forres revived by owners Gordon & MacPhail, made in a deliberately old-fashioned style with a measure of lightly peated malt. It matures ten years in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled at 43% ABV. The character balances orchard fruit and malt against sherried dried fruit and a thread of gentle smoke.
