Part of The Balvenie's Stories range, The Sweet Toast of American Oak was created by apprentice malt master Kelsey McKechnie. The 12-year-old Speyside single malt matures in ex-bourbon barrels before a short finishing period in double-toasted virgin American oak casks coopered at Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky. Bottled at 43% ABV, the profile leans on vanilla, toffee, and toasted-oak sweetness.
