Compass Box The Spice Tree 750ml

The Spice Tree is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, built on Highland malts led by Clynelish and finished in casks fitted with heavily toasted new French oak heads. It is bottled at 46% ABV with natural color and no chill filtration. The French oak drives clove, ginger and cinnamon over a malty, orchard-fruit core. An earlier version was discontinued after a dispute with the Scotch Whisky Association before returning in compliant form in 2009.
