The Story of the Spaniard is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, created to showcase Spanish cask influence. Roughly half the blend matures in Spanish sherry casks and a further quarter in Spanish red wine casks, and it is bottled at 43% ABV. Sherried dried fruit, orange and baking spice sit over a malty base with a dry, wine-tinged finish.
