Courage & Conviction is the flagship American single malt from Virginia Distillery Company in Lovingston, Virginia, named for founder Dr. George G. Moore. It is made from 100% malted barley and matured in a marriage of ex-bourbon, sherry, and cuvée wine casks, then bottled at 46% ABV. The profile centers on honeyed malt and vanilla with dark fruit from the wine and sherry casks.
